About Me

 I’m a Grade 12 First Class Honours student at Elmira District Secondary School and FIRST Robotics Team 4917 Captain. I love to learn new things and am passionate about STEM. I plan to use my engineering and problem solving skills to innovate and solve the world’s problems. I have patents pending in Canada and the United States for a prototype I designed and built. 

My FIRST Robotics team recognized me with the 2023 Inspiration Award in recognition of going above and beyond to motivate, encourage and inspire other team members, mentors, and competitors. 

 As a Shad Canada alumni and complete scholarship winner, I share my ideas through multimedia presentations, clearly articulating my passions with peers.  Shad reinforced that I am capable and able to achieve anything if I am willing to learn and push myself beyond my perceived limits.  

 When I’m not at school or one of my extracurriculars, you’ll find me programming something new, strumming a guitar, or out on a mountain bike ride. I enjoy writing and have won a national poetry contest and science fair best written report award.
